CHRISTIAN RIGHT ADVOCATE, JOSH DUGGAR, LIVING A SEX ADDICTED DOUBLE LIFE
By Synthia Esther
August 28, 2015
Once again Christian Right, former TLC reality show star, Josh Duggar, pleads an apology (read about his first apology in my "Part One" report below), after being outed as a holder of two accounts on the affair seeking website Ashley Madison, after hackers titled "The Impact Team", released his name, among others. "Hackers uploaded 9.7 gigabytes of Ashley Madison data on Tuesday, revealing names, credit card information and addresses of the adultery website users... Duggar had two Ashley Madison accounts with charges totaling $986,76", according to USA Today, Andrea Mandell report, and a posted news video, August 21, 2015.
ASHLEY MADISON SLOGAN - "LIFE IS SHORT. HAVE AN AFFAIR"
Duggar is not the only one who fell for Ashley Madison's marketing ploy, "Life is Short. Have an affair." As The Impact Team hackers released over 60 gigabytes worth of valid data on August 18, 2015, via the Dark Web. The data was released on BitTorrent within a 10 gigabyte compressed file, by and through the anonymity network Tor (The Guardian, Alex Hern, August 20, 2015). At the time of this writing, suicide deaths have been attributed to the Ashley Madison website breach, as well as several lawsuits (CNN - Video . Laurie Segall, retrieved August 28, 2015).
Duggar's statement on his family website in part read, "I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife".... "the last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our County I was hiding my own personal failures" (Fox News, retrieved August 20, 2015). The reference to porn addiction was removed from the website according to USA Today.
Duggar has been reported to have checked himself into an unspecified rehabilitation facility, which his family is said to have described as a "long-term treatment center", as confirmed within the following news reports: USA Today - Maria Puente, August 26, 2015; The Washington Post, Sarah Larimer, August 26, 2015; CNN, Todd Leopold, CNN, August 26, 2015.
CLAIMING GOD WHILE SERVING SATAN
Josh married Anna Keller on September 26, 2008, and they now have four children (wikipedia - retrieved August 27, 2015). Various blogs and news reports quote a family source stating Anna does not intend to leave Josh. While noble intentions are just, God's word confirms Anna has legal grounds for divorce (Matthew 5:32; 19:9). Sad, many codependent women stay, despite a potentially dangerous situation for their children, if the sex addict in their life has a history of child molestation, as did Josh, when he was 14-15 years of age.
I was involved with a man who, like Josh Duggar, lived a secret double life of sex and pornography addiction, claiming God while serving Satan, which is always a no win situation (Revelation 3:16). After researching the sex addiction subject matter in depth for many years. And after personally interviewing and reviewing the life stories of over one hundred female mates (victims) of sex addicts. I have written an educated, biblical answer to the question, "Should I stay or should I go?", when faced with the trauma of having been involved with a sex addict, within my free ministry outreach website article, "Foolish Pleasure, The Love Story of a Sex Addict, His Betrayal and Crime" at: www.synthiaesther.com.
Anna, and any other person faced with this same difficult situation, would benefit from knowledge pertaining to the sex addiction process in order to fully understand the ramifications of any and every decision they make. The sexual addiction recovery process is long and difficult, requiring an abundance of tough love. Prayer helps, but actions speak louder than words for those caught in addiction strongholds. God's word and will conveys this same tough love approach towards every sinner, being more concerned with the spiritual condition of the soul, than our flesh desires.
There is no doubt in my mind, God has provided Josh with yet another opportunity for spiritual renewal. A chance to do the right thing. Sad to say, most sexual predators, and sex addicts, never recover, falling back into a pattern of acting out sin strongholds, although a few do (reference www.synthiaesther.com - Library and Addiction pages). With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26), however faith without works is dead (James 2:14-26). With another apology from Josh Duggar, falling far short and shallow. I am glad to read news reports confirming Josh having taken the first step towards recovery by seeking treatment. I pray Anna has access to experienced, professional, Christian counseling help as well. She's going to need it.

JOSH DUGGAR CHILD MOLESTATION SEX SCANDAL
By Synthia Esther
June 19, 2015 / Update August 27, 2015
TLC Reality Show, "19 Kids and Counting", featuring conservative Christian parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their children, made headline news when it was released by In Touch Weekly magazine in accordance with Freedom of Information Act reports, that their eldest son, Josh (born March 3, 1988), was found to have sexually molested four of his sisters, and a family friend's daughter when he was 14 and 15 years old (between 2002-2003). TLC, on May 22, 2015, suspended airing the Duggars show as a result of the news release and cancelled the show on July 16, 2015 (wikipedia).
Josh was a former cars sells man (wikipedia) until hired as an executive director of FRC Action, a non-profit lobbying political action committee sponsored by the Family Research Council. After news reports confirmed the sexual abuse incidents which included the foundling of breasts and genital areas while the young girl victims were asleep and at times awake, without consent, he resigned from this position, May 21, 2015 (People Magazine, retrieved August 27, 2015; The Washington Post, retrieved August 27, 2015).
When the incident occurred, Jim Bob and Michelle, state they took parental action, sought out counseling for Josh, and even went to the police with him giving a full report to attending Arkansas State Trooper Jim Hutchens. No action went further. The statue of limitations has long since passed. Josh released an apology for his past actions. Another sad plot of twisted, demented sin, is that former trooper, Jim Hutchens, is serving a 56 year prison sentence for child pornography,
Something, somewhere, went very wrong with Josh Duggar. Often those who act out sexually abusing others, were sexually abused themselves and/or exposed to sexually related material at an early age ( reference Dr. Patrick Carnes book, "Don't Call It Love - Recovery From Sexual Addiction").
The Duggars, being very conservative Christians, confirm they thought they did the right thing by Josh, and their daughters, at the time. In an interview by Megyn Kelly (The Kelly File on Fox News), the Duggar's stated they felt their daughters have been victimized by the news release of the scandal, that should have remained a private family affair. They and others, including myself, also believe their children's private adolescent records should have never been released to the public.
